Santa Fe’s Glorietta Trails offer Winter Riding Oportunities

Large Rock Rolls Punctuate Glorietta’s Black Diamond Routes

Winter Riding Update: Several Taos riders have recently made the 2 hour commute to the Glorietta Trail System, east of Santa Fe on Interstate 25 (very easy and quick access to trailhead). All of us were beyond thrilled to find these south facing slopes relatively snow free AND super fun. A series of purpose built mountain bike trails with opportunities for all levels. The Blue rated trails are smooth, flowy and offer alternate jump lines and features. The Black Diamond Routes are more “ride it how it lays” terrain that travel from natural feature to natural feature. Groomers to Back Country options give everyone thier kind of fun. To add to the excitement, these trails are still being built, so even more fun to come! Glorietta easily joins the very limited category of “Best purpose built mountain bike trails in New Mexico.” Cj
